The 3 days from marrakech to merzouga desert as a group, which starts in Marrakech and goes to the desert of Merzouga, is our most popular tour. Specifically, this trip is designed for all those who want to discover the Sahara desert of Morocco in a much deeper way, and do not mind the long hours of travel.
The most impressive part of the tour is that you will be able to see some incredibly beautiful landscapes; a parade of impressive images and changes of landscapes that go from the amazing and fertile plains of Haouz (Marrakech), to the mountains of the High Atlas. In addition, you will walk through several valleys, oases and rocky plateaus followed by the impressive sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, Merzouga and other beautiful places in itinerary 3 days from marrakech to Merzouga desert.

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Hadou – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges (6 hours drive)

Departure from Marrakech in the morning, the driver will pick you up at your hotel.
You take the road to the dunes of Merzouga, through the High Atlas via the Tichka pass located at 2260 altitude. The first stop will be Kasbah Ait ben Hadou and the old Kasbah of Talouet. These two fortified villages, recognized by the World Heritage of Unesco, offer you a complete panorama of the techniques of construction of the ancient mud houses … Lunch in the Kasbah and direction towards Ouarzazate. In Ouarzazate, you visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and studios before going to the Dades Gorge. Enjoy, as well, the splendid landscapes of the valley of Dades, the valley of the Roses and Kalaa M’gouna. On arrival, you attend the sunset: the gorges of Dades showed all their magic … First night in a typical hotel Very clean and comfortable, ideal for a night shift.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi Dunes) 4 hours drive

Breakfast in the gorges of Dades and direction to the dunes of Merzouga: starting point for an unforgettable ride in the desert. Merzouga is known for its dunes of Erg chebbi, or the most commonly called dunes of Merzouga, which are greater than 100 km². Enjoy an hour and a half of camel riding through the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi and admire the sunset which offers an incredible and unique view to the world … Second night in Luxury Camp under the stars after a dinner traditional around the fire.

Day 3: Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Marrakech (9 hours drive)

After the sumptuous sunrise, enjoy a typical breakfast and take a camel ride back to Merzouga. Admire the beautiful landscapes of the Sahara, oasis, palm groves and green valleys … Back to Marrakech.

What’s Included in Your Marrakech 3 days desert tour

You’ll be collected from your Marrakesh hotel/Riad at the beginning of your tour, or alternatively, we’ll pick you up from the closest access point to your accommodation.

You’ll travel in our modern air-conditioned minibus with our English/French speaking driver. Your desert tour will consist of no more than 17 passengers.

Your first nights’ accommodation at the hotel in Dades Valley includes your evening meal and breakfast.

In addition to your camel trekking adventure, your second nights’ accommodation at our hidden desert luxury camp at Erg Chebbi includes your evening meal and breakfast.
